Basketball Recap: Flintridge Prep Comes Up Short

Flintridge Prep was the 44-41 winner over South Pasadena when they last played one another back in April of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Flintridge Prep Wolves took a 63-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Pasadena Tigers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (56), the Wolves still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Flintridge Prep and nudges their season record down to 12-8. As for South Pasadena, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.

Flintridge Prep will host Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Flintridge Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Polytechnic likes a good challenge. As for South Pasadena, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-59 win against La Canada on the 29th.
