Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cochranton walked away with it. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 48-47 win over the Rocky Grove Orioles. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Orioles on February 3rd, they had to take a 80-77 defeat.

Despite the loss, Rocky Grove still got an impressive performance from Landen Carter, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Haydon Bevier, who posted four points and five steals.

Cochranton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Rocky Grove, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-7.

Cochranton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-49 defeat against Mercyhurst Prep on the 27th. Rocky Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
