Basketball Recap: Oconto Takes a Loss

Oconto lost against Algoma back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Oconto Blue Devils fell to the Algoma Wolves 61-56. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oconto's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Algoma, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Oconto will challenge Gibraltar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Algoma, they and Peshtigo will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Peshtigo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Algoma likes a good challenge.
