Football Game Preview: Parkview Vikings vs. Hillcrest Hornets

The Parkview Vikings will head out to take on the Hillcrest Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Parkview nor Hillcrest posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

On Friday, Parkview ended up a good deal behind Mt. Vernon and lost 21-7.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 28-7 to Bolivar.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Parkview and Hillcrest were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, but Parkview came up empty-handed after a 19-18 loss. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
