Volleyball Recap: Laney Buccaneers vs. South Brunswick Cougars        
        
		
             Laney won the last time they faced South Brunswick, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Laney Buccaneers walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the South Brunswick Cougars. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Buccaneers.
 Laney had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-15, 30-28,  26-24.
 Laney was led to victory by  Kinsley Nagle and  Abigail (Abbey) Hendren.  Nagle  had 26  digs, two  kills, two  blocks,  and two  aces, while  Hendren  had 11  digs, three  aces,  and two  kills. That's the most  aces  Hendren has posted since back in August.
 Laney  kept the net locked down and  finished the game with 26  blocks. That's the most  blocks they've managed all season.
 Laney's record is now 9-5. As for South Brunswick,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-6.
 Laney will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against New Hanover  at 6:00  p.m. New Hanover is coming into the  game with seven straight  wins on the road,  so Laney will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. As for South Brunswick, they will head out to  face off against Topsail  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
