Baseball Recap: Clearview Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Clearview won the last time they faced Washington Township and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pioneers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Minutemen, sneaking past 5-4. That's two games straight that the Pioneers have won by just one run.

Clearview pushed their record up to 18-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Washington Township, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.

Clearview will be playing at home against Collingswood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight. Washington Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
