Basketball Recap: Calvary Chapel Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Calvary Chapel extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 23 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-6. They had to suffer through a 73-16 loss at the hands of the Hawthorne Cougars. The contest marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

As for Hawthorne, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. That looming 73-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Kyron Blanchette produced another solid effort putting up 25 points. The contest was his third in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Bruce Perez, who posted 16 points.

Looking ahead, Calvary Chapel will be taking part in a tournament against Rosemead at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hawthorne, they will take on Pioneer in a tournament on Thursday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
