Baseball Recap: St. Aloysius Falls Short of Columbia Academy in the Playoffs

St. Aloysius and Columbia Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but St. Aloysius had to settle for second. They lost 9-3 to the Cougars. The Flashes haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Keller Bradley was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off three hits. Bradley was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

St. Aloysius' defeat dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Columbia Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Aloysius nor Columbia Academy have any future games scheduled.
