Basketball Game Preview: Wonewoc-Center Wolves vs. Bangor Cardinals

Wonewoc-Center hasn't had much luck against Bangor recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wonewoc-Center Wolves will look to defend their home court against the Bangor Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Wonewoc-Center turned things around against New Lisbon two weeks ago. They had just enough and edged the Rockets out 40-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted against the Rockets since December 9, 2021.

Meanwhile, Bangor came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tigers 64-40. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Bangor's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Wonewoc-Center, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-6.

Wonewoc-Center ended up a good deal behind Bangor when the teams last played back in February of 2024, losing 51-33. Can Wonewoc-Center avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
