Baseball Recap: Cathedral Comes Up Short

Cathedral couldn't beat Nolan Catholic on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Fighting Irish fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 5-4. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Irish have lost by just one run.

Cathedral saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kikin Fonseca, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Cathedral's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-9-1. As for Nolan Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-17-1.

As of now, neither Cathedral nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
