Smithson Valley waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 27-17 win over the Pieper Warriors. For the Rangers, this counts as revenge for the 39-36 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Smithson Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Pieper, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, after each having a week off, Smithson Valley and Wagner will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Pieper, they will be playing at home against Seguin at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Matadors have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
