Baseball Recap: Arp Tigers vs. Ore City Rebels
Arp picked up another tournament win on Friday. They put the hurt on the Ore City Rebels with a sharp 11-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Caden Cliborn was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Adan Ponce was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Wyatt Johnson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.
Arp's record now sits at 2-5-1. As for Ore City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
Looking ahead, Arp will square off against Huntington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Huntington will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Arp surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ore City, they will challenge Sabine at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Ore City is facing Sabine at the right time seeing as Sabine is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
