Soccer Game Preview: ALA - West Foothills vs. River Valley

The ALA - West Foothills Guardians will face off against the River Valley Dust Devils at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. ALA - West Foothills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.2 goals per game this season.

ALA - West Foothills is headed into the contest without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They and Scottsdale Preparatory Academy finished up their matchup with a 4-4 draw on Monday. The Guardians' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Kaimbrey Inman was the only thing that stood between ALA - West Foothills and a shutout considering she scored all four of ALA - West Foothills' goals, bringing her season total up to 24 goals.

River Valley kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 10-0 to Northwest Christian. The Dust Devils have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

With that draw, ALA - West Foothills' record moves to 8-0-1. As for River Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

ALA - West Foothills took their win against River Valley in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for ALA - West Foothills since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
