Basketball Recap: Le Roy Comes Up Short

Le Roy suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They lost 64-43 to the York Golden Knights. While losing is never fun, the Oatkan Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Golden Knights are ranked 99th).

Le Roy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for York, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Le Roy has already played their next matchup (against Attica), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. York will look to defend their home court on January 24th against Geneseo at 7:00 p.m.
