Isaac Sherrouse looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Sawyer Williams was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Colin Kuruppacherry was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
Saint Francis Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wildwood only posted an OBP of .100.
Meanwhile, P.K. Yonge came up short against Dixie County on Thursday, falling 21-11. The Blue Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saint Francis Catholic's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for P.K. Yonge, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
