Basketball Recap: Charleston Catholic Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Charleston Catholic won the last time they faced Scott and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Charleston Catholic Irish enjoyed a cozy 56-42 victory over the Scott Skyhawks. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Irish as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Scott lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Colin Williamson, who posted 12 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Walls, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 13 points.

Charleston Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Scott, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Charleston Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-42 win against Poca on the 17th. Scott has also already played their next match, an 80-49 loss against Williamstown on the 18th.
