Softball Recap: Lawrenceville Indians vs. North Clay/Clay City

Lawrenceville scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They never let North Clay/Clay City onto the board and left with a 21-0 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Kenidee Boldt was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, six RBI, and three runs. Addy Brush was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

The victory (which was Lawrenceville's third in a row) raised their record to 12-16. As for North Clay/Clay City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Lawrenceville will be playing at home against Red Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Red Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season. North Clay/Clay City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
