Armstrong entered their tilt with Hoopeston on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cornjerkers. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Armstrong was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-13.

Armstrong's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Hoopeston, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Armstrong is set to face off against their familiar foe Chrisman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hoopeston will challenge rival Watseka at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
