Soccer Recap: Abilene Comes Up Short

After flying high against Big Spring last Saturday, Abilene came back down to earth. The Abilene Eagles fell just short of the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Panthers and Pantherettes recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Abilene's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Duncanville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Abilene will take on Nimitz at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Duncanville, they will take on Saginaw in a tournament on Thursday. Duncanville is facing Saginaw at the right time seeing as Saginaw is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
