Cassville came into Monday's   match having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Benton Zephyrs  on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Comets: when they faced off against the Zephyrs  on September 4th, they had to take a  3-1  loss.
 Cassville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-21, 25-18,  25-21.
 Abril Giral paced Cassville's offense, picking up nine kills. Giral got some help from  Jocelyn Adrian and her 32 assists.  Molly Roe controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
 When it comes to explaining why Benton lost, don't look at  Madeline Davis. Despite the final result, she  had five  digs and five  aces.
Cassville's  victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-13. As for Benton,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-13.
