Soccer Game Preview: Central Valley vs. Yreka

Central Valley is 0-10 against Yreka since February of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Central Valley Falcons will welcome the Yreka Miners at 3:15 p.m.

Central Valley is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against University Prep, falling 7-0.

Yreka, on the other hand, haven't lost since January 14th and they too continued that trend. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Lassen on Thursday. Logan Michels had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Miners got from the refs.

Yreka's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
