Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Mccallum

McCallum entered their tilt with Pflugerville on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

The win didn't come easy: Pflugerville scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Elizabeth Peables, who had 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight games. Aaniya Thorton also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

McCallum's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Pflugerville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

McCallum will take on Stony Point in a tournament on Saturday. As for Pflugerville, they will challenge Liberty Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
