Football Recap: Overhills Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The matchup between Overhills and Jack Britt on Friday hardly resembled the 14-12 effort from their previous meeting. The Jaguars were dealt a 47-14 loss at the hands of the Buccaneers. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buccaneers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2016.

Overhills didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Michael Adusei-Anim and Jermane Griffin. Griffin has been hot, having also posted six or more total tackles the last six times he's played. Another thorn in Jack Britt's side was Marquis James, who forced one fumble and made 30 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Among those leading the charge was Gavin Stokes, who threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes.

Overhills dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Jack Britt, they moved to 4-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
