Basketball Recap: New Life Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hope Academy last Friday, New Life Academy came back down to earth. The New Life Academy Eagles took a blow against the Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 81-49. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Life Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

New Life Academy will welcome St. Croix Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, they will head out to square off against Dassel-Cokato at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
