Softball Recap: Osage City's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

If Osage City was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Anderson County last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians fell just short of the Wellsville Eagles by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Osage City fell to 4-1. As for Wellsville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Osage City beat the Eagles by a score of 3-2 later that day.
