Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Danbury). They blew past the Wilton Warriors 13-1 on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Hatters as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Danbury's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-9. As for Wilton, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Danbury will host Stamford at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hatters' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Black Knights have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Wilton, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against New Canaan at 4:15 p.m.
