Volleyball Recap: West Morgan Starts Season with Loss at Home

West Morgan unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Austin Black Bears on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Black Bears: they've now lost five in a row.

West Morgan might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Austin: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24.

Coincidentally, West Morgan and Austin will both be playing Central the next time they take the court. The Black Bears will head out to face the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
