Volleyball Recap: South Point Pointers vs. Portsmouth West Senators

South Point lost against Portsmouth West back in October of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pointers fell just short of the Senators by a score of 3-2. The Pointers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Point started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 19-25, 25-20, 26-24, 15-8.

Molly Adams paced South Point's offense, picking up 18 kills. Adams got some help from Gracie Carmon and her 38 assists. Lakhai Howard controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

South Point now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Portsmouth West, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
