Recap: Eastlake Wolves vs. Lake Stevens Vikings
The Eastlake Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They lost to Lake Stevens at home by a decisive 59-45 margin. That's two games in a row now that Eastlake has lost by exactly 14 points.
Despite the defeat, Eastlake saw an underclassman step up: Kaleb Dehaan scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Dehaan scored 15 or more points. Marcus Angiuli was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Eastlake's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lake Stevens, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Eastlake and Mountain View will round out the year against one another at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at. Lake Stevens will be home for the holidays to greet Arlington at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Arlington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lake Stevens in Washington (Arlington is ranked 39th, while Lake Stevens is ranked 214th).
