Football Recap: Granger Finds Playoff Glory Versus Yorktown + How To Watch

Granger had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Yorktown Wildcats, posting a 62-30 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Granger was led to victory by Wyatt Rochner and Caleb Hobratsch. Rochner rushed for 135 yards and one TD on only nine carries, while Hobratsch rushed for 171 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. What's more, Rochner racked up 141.2 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Caleb Tucker was in the mix too, providing Granger with three scores.

The victory keeps Granger at an undefeated 10-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 53.5 points this season. As for Yorktown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Granger will take on Junction on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests. Yorktown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
