The Forest Hills Yellow Jackets will head out to take on the Cuthbertson Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Forest Hills really took it to Central for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-9 win. The team accrued 50 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

While Cuthbertson didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging an 85-30 win over Ballantyne Ridge. With that victory, the Cavaliers brought their scoring average up to 52.7 points per game.

Cuthbertson's win came from a few key players Forest Hills will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ava Beals, who shot 10-for-14 from deep and dropped a double-double with 32 points and 11 boards. Those 32 points gave her a new career-high. Amayah Rogers was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds.

Cuthbertson was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Cuthbertson, bringing their record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points on average over those games. As for Forest Hills, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Forest Hills took their win against Cuthbertson when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 59-33 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
