DuVal was the 1-0 winner over Northwestern when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. DuVal's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

DuVal's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Northwestern, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
