Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Christian Trojans vs. Odyssey Institute Minotaur

The Valley Christian Trojans will head out to challenge the Odyssey Institute Minotaur at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Valley Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over San Tan Charter.

Valley Christian never let San Tan Charter on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-22, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Odyssey Institute can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against St. John Paul II Catholic by a score of 3-1.

Odyssey Institute's victory bumped their record up to 5-20. As for Valley Christian, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Valley Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Odyssey Institute when the teams last played on April 11th, winning 2-0. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Minotaur have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
