Baltimore High School Football Rankings

Who's up and who's down

There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. The action included a dizzyingly high 134-point combined score from Archbishop Spalding and Gilman.

Points Galore

The match between Gilman and Archbishop Spalding last week put some strain on the scoreboard; in fact, with a total of 134 final points, it was the highest scoring contest in the power rankings for the week. Archbishop Spalding earned a pretty comfortable 76 - 58 victory over Gilman. Even if it didn't bump Archbishop Spalding up the rankings, the win at least kept team from dropping.

Rocket Boost

It was onward and upward for Mergenthaler Vo-Tech this week as the team hoisted itself up four places in the power rankings -- the largest rise of the week -- after their most recent game. It took its contest against Digital Harbor by a conclusive 35 - 6 score. Mergenthaler Vo-Tech's offense might have been extra motivated to turn things around after difficulties scoring in its previous game.
