After losing to Glenbard North the last time they met, Batavia decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 10-6 on Saturday. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Panthers on their field since April 22, 2023.

Batavia has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-17-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Glenbard North, they dropped their record down to 11-19 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Batavia will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
