Basketball Recap: O'Fallon Comes Up Short

O'Fallon was the 89-88 winner over East St. Louis when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the O'Fallon Panthers and the East St. Louis Flyers didn't end well, with the O'Fallon Panthers falling 62-48. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East St. Louis' win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Montreal Stacker, who posted 19 points along with six boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lawson Bynum, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.

O'Fallon's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for East St. Louis, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-10.

O'Fallon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-33 defeat against Principia on the 11th. As for East St. Louis, they will take on Belleville East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
