Basketball Recap: Melrose Comes Up Short

Melrose's game on Monday was all tied up 26-26 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lynn Classical Rams. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Melrose's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Lynn Classical, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Melrose does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lynn Classical, they will head out to challenge Chelsea at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
