Football Recap: Lake Arthur Takes a Loss

Lake Arthur was the 24-20 winner over Richwood when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers received a blow on Friday as they fell 28-14 to the Rams. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Arthur's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Richwood, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Looking ahead, Lake Arthur will challenge Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy's defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so Lake Arthur's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Richwood, they will face off against North Webster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.71 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
