Baseball Recap: Jackson's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Jackson posted their closest win since April 1st on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Fox Warriors 5-4. For the Fighting Indians, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Jackson's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-12. As for Fox, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 11-6.

Jackson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Jacksonville on the 26th. As for Fox, they will challenge Lindbergh at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 2.8, the Flyers 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
