Preview: Sullivan vs. Union
On Friday Union take on Sullivan at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Union came up short against St. Francis Borgia last Friday, falling 26-40. Union got a solid performance out of junior Derek Hulsey, who passed for 291 yards and 3 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Sullivan came within a touchdown against Festus, but wound up with a 13-20 loss.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
