Volleyball Recap: Minooka Takes a Loss

Minooka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lincoln-Way West Warriors. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17.

Luke Kirin paced Minooka's offense, picking up seven kills. Kirin got some help from Nicholas Boyce and his nine assists.

Minooka's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lincoln-Way West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Minooka will challenge Oswego East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln-Way West, they will head out to face off against Glenbard West at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
