Franklin hadn't done well against Wilson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Mules. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their one-run performance the game before.

Kamila Sanchez was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Wilson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will welcome Eagle Rock at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wilson, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bravo at 2:00 p.m. The Mules' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 11.2 runs per game this season.
