Soccer Recap: North Grand Victorious

North Grand proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Marine Leadership Academy Bulldogs 4-3. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but North Grand were the better team in the second half.

They hit Marine Leadership Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ashley Bahena-Bahena (2), Mia Ortiz, and Bryanelis Rivera.

North Grand now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Marine Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

North Grand will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Intrinsic at 5:00 p.m. on the 29th. Marine Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
