Volleyball Recap: Alak Takes a Loss

Alak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Tikigaq Harpooners, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Harpooners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Friday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-16.

Alak's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Tikigaq, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Alak and Tikigaq will both be playing Nunamiut the next time they take the court. The Harpooners will host the Amaguq at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
