Pacifica Christian came out on top against Calvary Chapel on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Tritons were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Eagles. The Tritons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Keegan DeMots, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Blake Hayes was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Pacifica Christian has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games.
