Softball Recap: Athens Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Athens finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Auburn Trojans. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Athens moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Auburn, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.
