Baseball Recap: Dublin Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Dublin strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Milpitas Trojans as they made off with a 7-1 win. Fans of the Gaels have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Dublin gave Brendan Weiss the start and clearly made the right call: he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Ethan Thai was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacob Salvador, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Dublin's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Milpitas, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Dublin will host Homestead at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Milpitas, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-5 win against Oak Grove on the 6th.
