Basketball Recap: Lee-Scott Academy Wins Going Away Against Dadeville

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lee-Scott Academy walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Dadeville Tigers with a sharp 60-35 win on Friday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Lee-Scott Academy found their leader in freshman Clarke Ivatt, who went 7 for 10 en route to 19 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. The contest was Ivatt's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haynes Keesee, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 13 points and four steals.

Lee-Scott Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Dadeville, they dropped their record down to 1-21 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Lee-Scott Academy will square off against Glenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee-Scott Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Dadeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
