Soccer Recap: Cary Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Cary was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of East Wake on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Imps took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Garner Trojans on Wednesday. Cary were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Garner apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Lucas Rosas and Hayden Miller scored both of Cary's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Cary's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Garner, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Cary has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Lee County on the 12th. As for Garner, they will host Southeast Raleigh at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Southeast Raleigh will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Garner surely won't give up without a fight.
