Whitley County had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the South Laurel Cardinals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colonels also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Whitley County's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for South Laurel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitley County will face off against Rockcastle County at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Laurel, they will take on Somerset at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
